A Malaysia is a country that surprised us in every single way, a multicultural country, full of colors and flavors, good roads to cycle on, beautiful beaches and amazing people. We cycled for a month there and we highly recommend this destination for your next cycle tour.
In 2009 the South Korean government starts to study the revitalization of the four major rivers in the country, Han, Geum, Nakdong and Yeongsan. The main goal was to control droughts, floods and revitalize ecosystems and the water quality, it was almost 10 years of a government focused on the sustainability of the country, the project to revitalize the four rivers lasted around 4 years. Eleven species of fish were recovered.

We were halfway of our planned route for the North Island and the summer welcomed us earlier this year. Because we used to live on the South Island, we were not used to the heat and we realized that it is much more comfortable to ride in cool climate than in hot days. Due to this change in temperature, our habits also had to change.
