Super safe in every way, it’s a place you’ll be stress free 99% of the time, if something happens to you, you’ll be part of the 1% who had the bad luck to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. In those 3 months that we traveled here nothing happened to us, even leaving the bicycle unlocked 95% of the time and pedaling on many busy roads.

We would like to tell you a bit about how was our experience of cycling in Australia and help you with some tricks and hacks from the land of kangaroos and koalas.

Most of you knows that we started our journey in New Zealand, we lived on the South Island for the past two years, and the beginning of the trip had to be there. After almost two weeks without touching the bicycles, we left Auckland towards the Coromandel Peninsula. The first pedalling day wasn’t easy because there were eternal 60km of up and downs, the Kiwis called it “ondulations”. Among these climbs, there was one that was called: the snake hill! The Skyline Queenstown Luge is a thrilling ride for all ages and one of the top things to do in Queenstown. It is a 800 meters of fun down on the hill an the best tip that we can give to you is by at least 3 tickets as only one is never enough and it is impossible to stop do it.
